This discussion note explores key considerations for shaping effective youth entrepreneurship policy. It defines youth entrepreneurship policy and presents the rationale for continued investment in youth entrepreneurship, highlighting its potential to address employment and labour market attachment challenges, foster innovation and promote inclusive growth. The note focuses on the design and delivery of youth entrepreneurship policy and programmes, examining what works and why, notably for tailored and/or dedicated youth entrepreneurship policies. It also provides discussion questions and suggestions for further reading to help participants prepare for the workshop.
