Discussion note: New era of youth entrepreneurship – AI and rapid technology innovations

Each YEPA workshop is accompanied by a thematic discussion note which is intended to help participants prepare for the workshop.
This note explores the adoption and use of AI and other rapid technology innovations, notably how young entrepreneurs are integrating these technologies into their business practices as well as starting AI-based companies. It highlights key policy actions that aim to to foster a greater understanding of innovative technology, including AI, and the potential opportunities these technologies provide to entrepreneurs and business owners. They also have introduced measures to address skills gaps, particularly skills that will be needed as AI adoption increases. The note also provides questions for reflection ahead of the discussion groups in the workshop as well as suggestions for further reading to help participants prepare for the workshop.
